I thought about what I wanted to share in this section. I guess all you need to know is that I love cooking and baking. Oh and Jamie Oliver. I love drinking wine, anything in cupcake form, true Italian food, French food, healthy food, vegan food, seafood, Mexican, beef, organic food, Thai food, cheese plates… well, I think you get my drift.

Shawn and I have been cooking together for almost 7 years. We’ve joked about having our own cooking show called “Your opinion wasn’t in my recipe” due to our constant discrepancies in the kitchen. 

We love music just about ( maybe more than) as much as food. We frequent shows in the city and around here as often as we can. With numerous playlists and grooveshark, I’d say our obsession with music had to leak onto this site. 

I used to be a vegetarian for a bit but coming from Argentinean descent, it’s nearly impossible to turn down a nice asado. I try to buy mostly organic meats, produce and dairy and love local farm markets. Anything “pick your own” is truly a treat to me and when berry season comes, it’s on. I bake mostly vegan treats when I can but when supplies are short, butter and eggs it is, cupcakes being my specialty. I’ll bake for you. Just ask.

I always use only whole grains and wheat in my recipes. Brown rices, quinoa, whole wheat breads and pasta. I am a sucker for food that is tasty and good for you, but I will never turn down a buttery, southern biscuit or fresh baked cornbread. No sir.

I’ve been a photographer for years, now making it part of my life professionally. Well, for the most part.

Random facts:

I have a silly obsession with my bunny, Pepe. My dogs are nutty but very obedient. I run often but I hate it, most of the time.  I had my 5D Mark II stolen, but am determined to rebuy it this year. I swim in the ocean 80 percent of the summer. I eat eggs, every single day. Lilacs are one of my favorite smelling flowers ever. I shoot weddings. I love Martha Stewart. I love just about everything to do with the outdoors, the dirt, the fresh air, the trees, hiking, camping but I am severely petrified of ALL bugs. I have crazy multi colored blondish hair. I enjoy murder mysteries. I want to run a half marathon with Shawn by next year. I try to travel twice a year, and one of those times, to Europe. My father is from Argentina, my mother from Ecuador, my grandparents from Sicily. I am a beach baby.
