howtomakepbj asked: love your blog and all of your photos! as a fellow photographer i can definitely appreciate your entries. do you use a prime lens with a low f/stop for the most part in your cooking pictures? i was thinking about doing a recipe post soon (food is my love) but i can never get good natural light in the kitchen.

anyways, sorry if i'm rambling haha. can't wait to read more from you guys! :)

hi! thanks so much!

random but i was actually on your flickr page recently, weird right?

i use 2 primes, the 35mm 1.4L and the 50mm 1.2 on my 40D. I see you have the 7D, do you love it? I was thinking of making that my next purchase, I used to have the 5D MarkII but it was stolen out of my house 6 months ago :( burn.

you should do a food post! my boyfriend and i started this silly blog not too long ago since I found I took tons of photos of food CONSTANTLY. ha.  so, why not right?

now i’m rambling.

your photos are totally beautiful btw. i love san diego and hawaii and surfing and the ocean. i’m sure we’d make awesome friends.
